EPISODE 1 | ROTARY'S BEGINNINGS
How Four Friends Started a Worldwide Movement
On February 23, 1905, attorney Paul Harris gathered three professional acquaintances in Chicago with a simple goal: to build friendships and exchange ideas.
That first meeting marked the beginning of Rotary, an organization that would eventually grow into a worldwide network dedicated to fellowship, humanitarian service, and lasting community impact.
More than 120 years later, Rotary continues to bring people together to address challenges, strengthen communities, and create positive change.
What began with four people became a worldwide movement built on Service Above Self.
And that same spirit of service continues today through the Rotary Club of Surprise & Sun City West.
